My approach to photography & video is very relaxed & easy going. When you do a session with me the focus will be about having fun & spending time with your kids.
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot, with the remainder due at the day of your session. Payment plan options are available, please inquire about split payments and we'll set that up for you.

Baby
A more natural, newborn-led, family focused approach. My newborn sessions take place in the client's home using natural light. (Options for rented studio space if you would prefer).
(ADD ON: 3-5 minute Newborn Film, additional $900).

Mini Session
Smaller 30 minute session with 15 images that you pick from an online gallery of images. Perfect for updated family photos, a quick maternity session, or kids annual "school" pictures. Minis are ONLY booked on specific dates at specific location.

Extended Family
There is nothing quite like having a photo including grandparents, aunts, uncles & all of the grandkids. Sessions include images with individual family groupings as well.

FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
With Family sessions / Film + Photo sessions / Baby sessions, you will receive a minimum of 30 images. My packages are all-inclusive, meaning you will get all of the best images from your session. The photos I take tell a story, & I can't just have you walking away with just a few images.
Mini Sessions on the other hand are 15 images, but once you see all of your images, & you want more, you can always upgrade your package.
How should we dress for our family session?
The clothes you wear should be comfortable enough for you to move freely in, & they should make you feel good when you wear them.
Texture: Natural Fibres photograph beautifully! Soft linens, cotton, chunky knits. Avoid thin stripes & tight checkered patterns that could create a moire effect on camera.
Colour: Choose from a colour palette & mix it up! No one has to be matching, just colours that compliment each other. A popular palette to choose from would be neutral, earthy tones. What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Most newborn photographers work within the first two weeks to get those curled up poses - However, I take a more natural approach to my newborn sessions. The best newborn photo, in my opinion, is curled up in your arms. So we are never rushed to get those photos done. A Newborn sesssion can be anytime within the first two months. If you are adding a Newborn Film (video) to your package it's always sweet if you can capture those little baby sounds & new smiles. So ideally around 1-2 months old.
How do I know when you are hosting Mini Sessions?
Make sure you are on my Email List (link under "contact") as I announce those dates before I announce them on Social Media ( Instagram / Facebook linked below). You get first dibs on those dates & times.
Do you have any discounts for Maternity AND Newborn sessions?
Yes I do!
PHOTOGRAPHY: For photography clients, if you book your Maternity & Newborn Session with me, you receive $200 off!
FILM + PHOTO: If you would like a combined Film + Photos session, (part of your film + photos maternity, the other part with newborn, combined into one video) we can definitely do that. There is an additional $200 fee to combine the two sessions into one. This cost covers my time & expenses to go out & plan for a second session.
However, if you would like two separate Film + Photos Sessions for Maternity & Newborn, you get $500 off your Newborn Film Session.
Can I pick the music for my Family Film?
The music that is selected for your film is an art in of itself. Songs that are familiar or popular are not an option anyways as it would be illegal for me to use them. I am open to genre preferences if you have one. Something that reflects your family better. But I recommend leaving the music selection to me, I promise I'm good at it ;)
Prior to your session I listen to a selection of licensed music that I pay for, & then artfully choose the right one according to the footage I get from our session together. I don't rush this process, as I try to select music that will be the right fit for your film, & hopefully pull at your heartstrings.
Do you travel? Could we book you to come to us?
Yes I am open to travelling. I would ask travel expenses to your location are covered, including accommodation & flights if necessary from YEG Airport. However, if I am already travelling to your location, there is no travel fee. Join my email list (linked below) to be the first to know when travel sessions become available.
For Films + Photos: there is no travel fee between Edmonton to Calgary.
Photography: $100 travel fee between Olds - Calgary AB.
